When is the rainy season in Punta Cana

Contrary to the assumptions of many, the Dominican Republic has no real “rainy season” in the way most people think of it. While May through October sees more rainfall, it is far from constant or to the degree one would experience in, for example, Africa. More variance is seen in the intensity of rain than in the amount of consecutive rainy days.
